Raresh DiMofte found a passion for acting at an early age and began formally training while in highschool. He continued on that path during his University years when he studied at the Faculty of Theatre at the Babes-Bolyai University in Romania, graduating with a BA in Drama (2005) .
Prior to moving to Vancouver in 2010, DiMofte started his career in stage productions and television, appearing on popular Romanian sitcoms such as La Bloc and Vocea Inimii. Over the past seven years, DiMofte has worked hard to establish himself in the North American film scene - not only as an actor but also as a producer, writer and director.
Raresh has appeared in locally shot American shows such as The Man in the High Castle, Arrow, UnReal, The Tomorrow People, Almost Human and returned to his stage roots for Pi Theatre’s production of Sarah Kane’s play Blasted. He was nominated for a 2015 Jessie Richardson Theatre Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role and won Best Actor in 2010’s Stage Yourself Theatre Competition.
